Enroll in HiSET or GED prep classes at NSCC's Adult Learning Center.

Anyone who has not completed high school, is at least 16 years old, and is not currently in school can enroll in free college and career readiness classes in literacy, math, and High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) or GED prep offered at the ALC.

Starting is as easy as one-two-three!

Attend a student orientation! Once the previous steps have been completed, you will be invited to a student orientation to begin classes.


When and where are the classes held?

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
(You must be able to commit to all three days of classes)

All daytime and evening classes will be held in person on the Danvers campus from September through June. Candidates for the Lynn program must have a minimum of 9th grade English reading skills. Online Distance Learning may be possible if transportation or scheduling are barriers to enrolling, or if Covid prevents in person learning. Attendance three days a week is mandatory.
