Expand your career skills with noncredit training

Study the anatomy and physiology of the hand and arm, nail composition and disorders, uses of implements and cosmetics in conjunction with manicuring techniques, nail repair, French manicure, professional ethics, salon management and state law issues. This hands-on class includes time spent in NSCC’s Salon, which is open to the public.

Our 100 clock hours will prepare you to sit for the Massachusetts state licensing exam. This program is also designed, upon completion, to be eligible to use credit for prior learning to save time and money on NSCC’s 1000-clock-hour Cosmetology Certificate, which fulfill the requirements for the Massachusetts Cosmetology License.
