Black History Month quilt

February is Black History Month and is a time to pause, recognize, and learn about the histories of Black Americans and acknowledge the central role of African Americans in United States history.

NSCC will observe Black History month by holding a series of events that celebrates the culture and creativity of Black Americans, including a “Quilt” display in both the Danvers and Lynn Campus libraries.

All are invited to stop by the libraries to engage and provide a positive contribution towards the weekly “Quilts” that incorporate the BHM 2024 theme, African Americans and the Arts: Spanning the many impacts Black Americans have had on visual arts, music, cultural movements and more.
