for skilled workers has never been higher! Job placement rates directly from the program
have been over 80% with starting hourly wages for machinists of $22 - $25, and annual
salaries ranging from $32,000 - $50,000+.
Through a partnership between the GE Aerospace Foundation, North Shore Community College (NSCC), Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School, and MassHire-North Shore Career Center, you can earn a National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certificate in CNC milling plus college credit, free of charge.
Classes, which will be held at Essex Tech, are designed to start you on a path to a well-paying, secure career. We offer tracks for career changers and those looking to advance their career in manufacturing. We also offer high school completion and ESL track. Space is limited and applicants must attend an info session prior to registration. Classes begin in August.
