Kudos to students in NSCC’s Cosmetology Program for volunteering their time and talents to make the “Night to Shine” prom an unforgettable experience for attendees!
These dedicated students provided manicures, makeup, and hair styling, gratis, helping
the prom attendees feel fabulous as they prepared to "walk the red carpet." The event,
sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation at North Shore Community Baptist Church in Beverly, was all about creating a magical
evening filled with dressing up, music, dancing, dinner, and much more for those in
the community, aged 14 and older, with special needs.
Associate Professor Kathy Champlain, the Cosmetology Program Coordinator, shared her pride in her students, “Demonstrating their skills and generosity,
the students helped to boost confidence and create a positive experience for attendees.
Their efforts reflect NSCC’s commitment to community engagement and inclusivity, using
their talents to make a meaningful impact.”
