NSCC offers associate degree and credit certificate programs. Our students include recent high school graduates, working adults with families, transfer students, and people interested in changing careers or finishing a degree. If you're looking for a pathway to a bachelor's degree or training for direct entry into the workforce, NSCC is a great fit for you! North Shore Community College offers three semesters of open enrollment degree and certificate programs. NSCC's Selective Admissions degree and certificate programs begin in the Fall semester.

NSCC offers two types of ESL pathways, ESL for Academic Learning (credit), and ESL for Non-Academic Learning (noncredit). We can help you decide which option is best for you.

Free Community College

Massachusetts allows all residents without a bachelor’s degree to attend North Shore Community College for free.

No tuition. No fees. Both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students.

North Shore Community College is an accredited nonprofit institute of higher education where all are welcome and each is challenged. NSCC is accredited by NECHE, the New England Commission of Higher Education.
