Get free IT training at NSCC with MassSTEP!

MassSTEP at NSCC offers a 20-week free training program that combines IT instruction with workplace readiness skills, and HiSET preparation. Earning industry certifications can help you land an entry-level position in IT by ensuring you know the basics of working with hardware, networks, and computer systems. This free training program is scheduled to begin in September and February of every year. Pre-register by filling out and submitting the Application Form.

 

 


MassSTEP IT Training Program Description

What is it?

MassSTEP at NSCC offers a 20-week FREE IT training program (savings of $7,000). Students can earn up to 11 college credits upon completion of the program.


Who can attend?

The MassSTEP IT Training Program is open to students with or without a high school credential.


Where is it located?

Danvers Campus (in-person)


What is the schedule?

The MassSTEP IT Training Program is scheduled to begin in September and February.

 

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday | 9:00AM–2:00PM

  • 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Computer class

  • 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Academics & Workplace Skills class

MassSTEP IT Training Program Benefits

Skills

Students in the MassSTEP IT Training Program will develop college and career readiness skills by building resumes, writing cover letters, establishing a LinkedIn profile, practicing interview skills, and learning the expectations of a professional multicultural environment in the 21st century workplace.

Certifications

You will receive certifications in CyberSafe, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, Service Desk & Support Analyst, and OSHA.

Internship and job opportunities

NSCC partners with local employers to offer potential internship and job opportunities to students who complete this free training program.

Earn credits toward an associates degree or academic certificate

Credits earned in this program can be a stepping stone to higher credentials leading to greater career opportunities and higher earnings.
