What is an Articulation Agreement?
An Articulation Agreement provides a chance for students to receive college credit for class work done in high school. You might be eligible to receive college credit that you can transfer into NSCC if you are a student in our region. For more information please email Dean Walter Stone at wstone@northshore.edu.
This will save you time and money when you begin your college studies at North Shore
Community College. In order to transfer high school credit into NSCC, please complete
an Advanced Credit Application with your high school guidance counselor.
Did you know that North Shore Community College also has articulation agreements with 4 year colleges and universities? Once a student is enrolled at NSCC, they can take advantage of articulation agreements
and transfer opportunities that are in place with four-year colleges and universities.
For information, please visit Transfer Services.
Other Ways to Prepare for College
Accuplacer Assessment is a computerized placement test that determines whether or not a student is ready
for college level work. The goal of early Accuplacer is to reduce the need for developmental
coursework in math and English at NSCC.
College visits provide an opportunity for high school students to experience a college
campus, become familiar with the many departments and services available and learn
about college programs, degrees and certificates.
If you are interested in Early Accuplacer Assessment or College Visits, please see
your guidance counselor.
