In 2021, with the support of the Campus Safety and Violence Prevention (CSVP) community and stakeholders, and strong student advocacy, the legislature passed crucial legislation, Chapter 337 of the Acts of 2020, also known as the 2021 Campus Sexual Assault Law (CSAL”).
As a result, all private and public higher education institutions in Massachusetts must conduct a campus sexual misconduct climate survey no less than every four years and post results on their website.
NSCC distributed the anonymous inaugural survey in the Spring of 2024 to students and employees. NSCC partnered with Grand River Solutions, an independent research firm, in part to help keep the community’s participation confidential.
In accordance with the law and to support full transparency, you may download the campus climate survey.
