NSCC students make great interns!
Students in many NSCC academic degree and certificate programs can take advantage of internship opportunities through the Experiential Education and Internship Program (ITR200).
Internship Program Description

ITR200 is a 2-credit course
-
ITR200 requires NSCC students to participate in a 120-hour internship experience over a semester (typically 10-15 hours per week) in a work environment related to their program of study and career goals

ITR200 internships are completed under the guidance of an on-site supervisor
-
ITR200 instructor and internship coordinator, in combination with the student, create a framework for learning and reflection to enrich the student educational experience

ITR200 combines on-site or online coursework with an approved, faculty-supervised work experience

ITR200 is required in the following programs of study:
Accounting
Digital and Social Marketing
Graphic Design – Integrated Media
Graphic Design – Print
Executive Administrative Assistant
Horticulture
Medical Administrative Assistant

ITR200 is used as an open elective for these majors:
Cybersecurity and Computer Networking
Computer Applications
Computer Programming
Criminal Justice
Liberal Arts
Students from these majors have also worked as interns:
