Help reclaim lives and communities impacted by addiction disease

NSCC’s Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Associate Degree program provides comprehensive, experiential education in the field of addiction and human services. Take advantage of specific coursework leading to employment in comprehensive addiction treatment settings, mental health programs, hospitals, prevention programs, health care, and other social service facilities. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge of processes leading to substance use disorders, the associated costs to society, and how to view addiction through a bio-psychosocial lens. Most importantly, study emphasizes reflection, the therapeutic relationship, evidence-based practice, the role of community-based organizations, and how best to obtain employment in the field of counseling at large.
