Anyone familiar with substance use disorders and addiction knows how powerful and crippling these illnesses can be.  Start a rewarding career by enrolling in NSCC's Substance Addiction and Counseling (SAC) Cerficiate.  Completion of the program fulfills the educational requirements required to become a Licensed Drug & Alcohol (LADC) in Massachusetts, launching graduates into any number of human service positions.   Help reclaim lives today!

Human Services Pathway

For students interested in continuing their education, courses in this program count towards NSCC’s Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Associate in Science degree.

 

Free Community College

Massachusetts allows all residents without a bachelor’s degree to attend North Shore Community College for free.

No tuition. No fees. Both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students.
