Train to be an elementary school teacher and shape the lives of students for years to come

NSCC’s Elementary Education Transfer degree program prepares students for careers in teaching and working with elementary school children in public school settings. Build knowledge and skills through liberal arts and science coursework focusing on working with elementary school children. Program graduates can move directly into the career field as para-educators or teacher aides, or transfer after graduation as juniors into four-year college or universities to complete requirements for elementary education teacher licensure to teach in first through sixth grade public school settings.
