Step 1: Schedule an Aviation Medical Exam for a first or second class Aviation Medical License with an FAA Examiner (see attached list of local options).
Step 2: Complete an application for North Shore Community College. Complete Application Here
Step 3: If you are utilizing financial aid or loans for funding your flight training and classes complete the FAFSA application. Sign Up For FAFSA
Step 4: Secure a copy of your high school diploma and if you are transferring college credits from another institution request official transcripts be sent to NSCC.
Step 5: Schedule a phone consult appointment with the Aviation Coordinator via email (asinger@northshore.edu) to discuss the program, advise on the next steps in pursuing the degree, and submit any remaining paperwork to Registrar.
Step 6: Once accepted complete an orientation session. Sign Up For Orientation
Step 7: Compete Math and English proficiency testing (if required). Complete Proficiency Testing
Step 8: Register for classes and flight training.
