Prepare for a career in Dietary Management
NSCC’s Dietary Management one-year certificate program includes academic course work and field experience to prepare students for entry level food service managerial positions in school, hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living centers, and correctional facilities. Upon graduation, students will be able to prepare nutritious menus; purchase, receive and store foods; maintain food safety and sanitation standards; manage personnel, and maintain basic quality assurance and budgetary reports for health care facilities.
For students interested in continuing their education in the Agricultural and Food Services Pathway, courses in this certificate count toward the Nutritional Science and Dietary Technology Associate of Science degree.
