Train to care for the changing life needs of older adults

Massachusetts is now rated the second healthiest state in America, right behind Hawaii, and contrary to national trends, life expectancy is increasing in the Commonwealth. This means as we age, we may need help with life changes to stay healthy and happy. Whether you are currently helping older adults or interested in the health and human services profession, the NSCC’s Elder Advocate Certificate program will develop your capacity to serve a growing population. This program provides a basic credential to those working in the field of aging without previous academic training or credentials.

Human Services Pathway

For students interested in continuing their education, courses in this program count towards NSCC’s Human Services Practitioner Associate in Science degree.
