Transfer to Salem State University

NSCC’s Liberal Arts - Dual Language Pathway fulfills general education requirements and is designed for transfer to a Massachusetts public four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Students starting at NSCC in the Liberal Arts - Dual Language Pathway can now transfer to more than 50 bachelor degree programs at Salem State University focused on Art & Design, Business, Education, Health Care, Humanities, Social Sciences, Social Work, and STEM fields.

Liberal Arts - Dual Language Pathway Courses

Courses in NSCC's Liberal Arts - Dual Language Pathway are listed in the order to be taken to transfer as a junior to a public Massachusetts state university, including Salem State University or the University of Massachusetts.

Courses are conducted in Spanish, or in a bilingual environment.

Learn English at any level

Students not ready to enroll in a degree program can improve communication skills with courses in English as Second Language.

  • ESL FOR ACADEMIC PROGRAMS - NSCC’s English as a Second Language academic programs offer non-native speakers of English the communication skills needed to earn an associate degree or academic certificate.

  • ESL FOR NON-ACADEMIC LEARNING - Students can also improve English language skills for career and personal growth with basic noncredit ESL classes without having to apply to the College. These classes are offered through the Division of Corporate and Professional Education.
