Program Overview
The Health Studies degree is designed for students aspiring to enter the health industry but who may not be able, eligible, or interested in enrolling in one of the existing health-related programs. Given the high number of students at North Shore Community College pursuing careers in healthcare, this degree offers a valuable pathway. It allows students to complete foundational coursework relevant to various health disciplines, either as preparation for more specialized programs or as a direct route into the healthcare field. Additionally, the curriculum supports students who may wish to transition into a specific health-related academic concentration in the future.
