Our Mission
The Service-Learning Program at North Shore Community College is grounded in our faculty's deep commitment to teaching excellence and to the communities in which our faculty and students live and work. This teaching and learning method encourages student learning, discernment, and persistence through experiential learning opportunities with non-profit community organizations. Our service-learning courses provide opportunities for students to extend their knowledge beyond the classroom by using their skills, knowledge, and passion while meeting the real needs of our surrounding communities.
